The Star of Your Bathroom

Admit it. When envisioning the perfect master suite, what comes to mind first? The tub, of course.

Over the years we have seen tubs evolve from somewhat of a necessity to a luxury. I vividly remember when we bought a home that came with a jetted tub in the master suite. I had arrived! A few year later, we built for the first time, and without a question, we installed another built-in jetted tub.

Fast forward a few years to our most recent build. The tubs had changed. Enter a new player: the freestanding tub. Now what? I love that seamless look. It is so much more attractive than the sunken in porcelain. It amps up the look of any room. But, what about my jets?

My dreams were answered when I walked into Tubzz in Lindon. Pleased with tub we put in our last home from Tubzz, I knew their products performed well. I had no idea the selection they had -- it had been fourteen years since I last built.

They still carry drop-in jetted tubs, don't worry. But, my how they have evolved. They not only carry simple freestanding tubs, but they also offer a hybrid of sorts.

Take for instance the tub I ended up buying. It is called the Luna. But wait! It gets better. I was able to get a jet package that is so subtle that the water sounds like I'm lying in a stream in the middle of nowhere. (you can see those small holes in my picture where the water trickles out) That's not all. It comes equipped with a Syllent brand pump (yes, it's a lot quieter than those original, loud jetted tubs sounding like a train rushing through your home) that circulates that water as well as heats it so your bathwater never goes cold! Shut the bathroom door! I know! Isn't that amazing?

Just listen to it. Turn up the sound because it's pretty quiet.

I seriously love my tub. The look is gorgeous and the function is even better. One more perk is that the faucet can be mounted on the deck due to the thickness on one side. That was appealing to me since I didn't want to double my budget using a floor-mount tub filler. Have you seen the prices on those? Don't worry. If you're a fan of those, Tubzz also carries some more affordable options for a floor-mount filler.

This model was featured in the Utah Valley Parade of Homes in the Flagship Home (adorned with decor by Studio McGee).

I didn't even scratch the surface of all of the other upgrades you can get -- including aromatherapy and lights. I'll leave you hanging on that teaser to make you go look into it.

I'm telling you, if you are in the market for a tub, you'd be crazy not to go check out these tubs first. Whether you're building or doing a remodel, I am certain you'll fall in love with their selection and your bathroom all over again. Ask for Paul at Tubzz. He'll treat you right.
